Professional driver training
Driver Risk Management (DRM) is an institution that provides training in vehicle operations in both simulated and real environments. DRM’s training centre affords all the space and infrastructure required to train clients in professional vehicle operations for either heavy industrial haulers or light commercial vehicles. Clients can select from one of the two packages below.

1. Industrial Driving Training
In this package, you will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to operate heavy vehicles safely by utilising low-risk driving techniques and drilling in hazard recognition. The practicum is reinforced with an education in legislative requirements, risk management, load placement, payload fastening, and proper documentation protocols. All this goes into a well-rounded mastery of heavy haulage operation, both on the road and in the books.
2. Light Vehicle Operations
Master commercial, off-road, and emergency-services driving with the light vehicles package of courses. Clients taking out this package will participate in a wide gamut of training in skills ranging from road hazard handling to off-road driving and recovery. Clients who undertake the All Terrain Vehicles course will also receive training in quad bike and side-by-side utility vehicle operations.
